The National Guard Armory is available for social functions such as weddings, birthdays, reunions, ect.  This is a state owned facility and as such, state rules and regulations apply.  The rates are competitive with other facilities available for rent in the area.  Our friendly staff will be glad to assist you in any way necessary.

 The facilities at the National Guard Armory consists of a main hall of approximately 5,100 square feet, with tables and chairs to accommodate 300 guests.  There is a ladies room and a men's room, a kitchen with warming capabilities, (no cooking), ample off-street lighted parking.  We also have a board room with a capacity of approx. 25 seated.  The rental rate is $80.00 per hour of event time, plus $20.00 per hour for the armory coordinator for setup time and event time.  To reserve the hall for an event a $300.00 deposit is required, of which $200.00 is refundable.

A certificate of insurance (Special Event Policy) must be provided in the amount of $1,000,000 single limit liability naming the Reedley Area Veterans, Inc. and the State of California, Military Department as additional insured. The following must be stated in the body of the certificate of insurance.  “The insurer will not cancel the insured’s coverage without 30 days prior written notice to the state.  The United States, State of California, its officers, agent’s employees and servants are included as additional insured, but only with respect to the activities of the named insured.”

If you anticipate having a DJ or live music with dancing you must provide the required security and obtain a Dance/Alcohol permit from the Reedley Police Department.  This same permit allows serving of alcohol.  The permit blank forms are available at the Armory.
